Tenzin Dorjee Testifies at Second Canadian Parliamentary Hearing on Colonial Boarding Schools in Tibet

On April 21, Tenzin Dorjee, Tibet Action Senior Reacher testified at the second Canadian parliamentary hearing on China’s Residential Boarding Schools & Preschools in Tibet. Alongside Canada Tibet Committee’s Sherap Tharchen, the Abbot of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery Zeekgyap Tulku and Tenzin Choekyi from Tibet Watch, he provided strong evidence to illustrate how Beijing is using the boarding school system to try to eliminate Tibetan language, culture and identity.
