Report: Colonial Boarding School System in Tibet

A staggering figure has come out of Tibet. Almost 80 percent of Tibetan children aged 6 to 18 have been placed in state-run boarding schools.

There, they are cut off from their families, language, and traditions.

That’s according to the analysis of official data from a U.S.-based NGO, the Tibet Action Institute.
